“The Field, part 2” is a performance of talking and dancing that explores the dynamics of emergent material. The work creates a dispersal of happenings: overlapping conversation, a chorus of murmurs, the layering of latent rhythms and enigmatic gestures. A collision of plotless ecologies, the work becomes a discontinuous riff / rift on the ensemble’s potential for harmony and dissonance. “The Field, part 2” was created and performed collaboratively by Leah Fournier, Amelia Heintzelman, and Tess Michaelson.

“A good way below a man is walking, hands in his trouser pockets” is about the everyday experience of being on the cusp. It was created by Samara Michaelson.
